NYC FREE TAX PREP
NYC Free Tax Prep (NYCFTP) is a free service provided by the New York City Department of Consumer and Worker Protection to assist New Yorkers with filing taxes.
For this campaign, I executed the design of print and digital ads posted across New York City. We received files from a marketing agency with the initial design, but found that we needed to make tweaks that accommodated various specs and copy lengths for these ads. In addition, the ads and other marketing materials needed to be edited for multiple other languages.
I used Photoshop to blur and extend the background of the images, resized the ads to the various sizes we needed, and edited elements to fit the specific medium and language used.
In addition to the ads displayed across the city, I helped design the NYCFTP brochures, flyers, event signage, swag, postcards, social media graphics, and digital ads. In total, there were 2,000 subway ads and 1,100 bus ads posted throughout the city and, 200,000 brochures and 200,000 postcards distributed.
