Windows: Downstate Health Family Medicine Clinic

DOWNSTATE HEALTH FAMILY MEDICINE CLINIC WINDOWS

In March 2024, SUNY Downstate opened the Downstate Health Family Medicine Clinic. To help promote the new location and communicate its services, the team requested window clings that would wrap around the corner of the building for maximum visibility.

I began by researching how other clinics and storefronts used window graphics to inform and attract passersby. Using the Downstate shield as a foundation, I simplified its form and developed a step‑and‑repeat pattern to serve as the background element.

For the imagery, I focused on photos that showed patient care in action to convey the level of attention and compassion offered at the clinic. I curated appropriate stock photography and used Photoshop to mask the silhouettes and unify the lighting across all images, ensuring a cohesive look. I also coordinated with the vendor throughout production to confirm that the printed proofs accurately reflected the submitted designs.
