13TH STREET CAT RESCUE
During the summer of 2021, I volunteered remotely at the 13th Street Cat Rescue, an animal shelter based in San Diego, CA. Working with their team, I helped design a graphic that will be printed on shirts and used online to promote and fundraise for their Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) program.
The organization wanted a design featuring a happy cat with a tipped ear, the conventional indication that a stray cat has been neutered. I drafted several sketches and we settled on a sitting cat within a blue circle to add color and create an inviting frame/path for the cat and surrounding text.
The fundraiser launched on October 1, 2021 and ended on October 22, 2021. In that time, the fundraiser sold 103 shirts, raising $900.
